So one of my freinds has decided she wants to build a gaming computer, and for a miniscule 350 dollars. She wants something that will last a little bit and can play games somewhat ok. The list she sent me was from amazon and had incompatable crap everywhere, and I need a bit if help here. All suggestions are apreciated. My current build is a bit over budget but it is here (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/FV46gs). All sugestions are greatly apreciated. Thanks! :)

It's worth waiting for the 5xx series from Intel... the IGPis 50% better than anything currently available from Intel or AMD and will remove the need for a seperate GPU.. If she can wait.. if not then maybe:

About the same price as yours but any lower and she is really really better off going used or saving more...

Good upgrade path available though no oc or sli..

CPU: Intel Core i3-4160 3.6GHz Dual-Core Processor  ($108.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H81M-H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($36.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Pareema 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($25.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card  ($114.99 @ Newegg)

Yes but i3 give a much better upgrade path.

That doesn't mean much if the computer can't do much more right now then play something like vanilia minecraft, or LOL. Besides, if that's her max budget, upgrading isn't going to be happening for a long while. I'm with one of the 860k builds.

Not really, and this is cheaper.

yes really.. Not by much but as I said, the reasoning is that it leaves a viable upgrade path to extend the systems life by a significant margin.

and 8gb is better for gaming then 4gb...

stop making facts up

Not making up facts in any way.. I also agree 8Gb is better, nobody's arguing that.

GET WRECKED

What? Necessary?

End of the day, everyone has opinions and different strategies to builds.. OP knows enough to take everything everyone has said and make an informed decision.
