Let's Play Recording, Rednering, better quality for Youtube

Hi,

 

I sometimes do Lets Plays of some games.

I record with Dxtory and the lagarith lossless codec. At the moment i'm fine with my way of recoding.

The quality of the caputed video is very good.

 

 

At the moment i cut and render the video with Sony Vegas pro 13.

 

But i have some problems with this :

 

I tried h264 codec in avi file and mp4 as output file, but i am still not very happy with the video quality on youtube.

 

And rendering takes like forever. For a 15 min video rendering takes about 30-40 min.

While Rendering i have a cpu load about 95% (i7 4930K). i also installed cuda, but there is no gpu utilisation during rendering. Mabye the codec ist not compatible to be rendered with gpu (gtx 780 ti, in a few weeks titan X)

 

I am now looking for tips or experience report on how i can optimise my Video quality an decrease the rendering time

I dont know at the moment. Maby i'll build an secondary PC with this.
