Hard drive question.

I have a 1tb hard drive in my old system. I just built my new system. I'm super new to this. If I take that 1tb and install it in my new case and wipe it. I should be able to set it up as an extra storage in my new rig right?

Did that with my dad's PC.

Yep, can wipe it and use it in any system you like.
