24 vs 27 inch

Go to solution Solved by minibois,

I'm trying to choose a monitor size. I either want 24" or 27". If I choose 27" it will have a lower dpi than the 24", but it will be bigger. Is there a noticable difference in clarity between 24 and 27 inch monitors? Thanks

For 1080p I wouldn't go bigger than 24" in my setup.

Of course it depends on how far you sit away, but if you sit kinda close-ish you will see the difference.

I have a 23" display and a 27" display with the same resolution - I don't notice a difference in pixel density between the two.

tbh I have a 27" 1080p monitor. I used to plan going with 1440p but that changed once I saw the quality of the one I have.

tbh. I barely notice any kind of pixeling problem with it. although on 24" the pixels will be smaller and you will have a higher PPI (pixel per inch) count.

Sorry about my post earlier - just noticed I typed 24" instead of 27". It has been corrected.
