just buy RGB led 5050 lights. they run off 12 volt so you can tap into your power supply.

I have the NZXT HUE. I like it alot and it is also affordable. The adhesive on the LED strips is weak so I just used glue tape and its been keeping steady for a year now. I really recommend it.

i use these in my case. They are quite good for the price and are fairly bright.

Not a single CCFL recommendation makes me sad. I think they look so much nicer then LEDs.

Okay, so everyone here is telling you this and that about where to get strips, what You really should know is about led strips instead. 

 

There are two main led strip types you will find 3528 and 5050 -generally the 5050 are slightly brighter and/or are RGB

 

Beyond that there are different LED amounts per meter typically 300 and 600. The more LED's per meter the brighter, and more consistent the light emitted will look. 

 

Personally I get 3528's in the color I want and then determine If my light will diffuse by the time the light is seen in the case. If in doubt get 600 though just to be safe.
