What kind of system specs can run these games close to max settings with 60fps?

FineVisionz

I have a 4790K and a 980 and can run those games just fine, so something around that you should be okay.

Specs:

Intel i7-4790K @ 4.7 GHz cooled by Corsair H80i | ASUS Maximus VII Formula |  G.Skill 8 GB (2 x 4GB) 2133 | EVGA 980 Superclocked (Fry) | 128GB Samsung 840 Pro OS Drive | WD Black HDD | 500GB Samsung 850 EVO | Corsair Vengeance K70 | Logitech G502 Proteus Core

Arma 3 will murder your CPU.

With a flaming axe.

GTA V is p good optimization wise.

Rest are easy to run.

Like 4690k/GTX 970? (CPU clocked to 4 GHz or somethin)

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

4690K should be able to handle Arma 3 just fine. I get 60+ if the server is a good server. (On wasteland I sit at around 70-80, even before overclock)

i'll add in a nice fact a friend had happen on arma:

he has a pretty killer system: 4790k, 8GB ram, GTX970, all the bells and whistels.

his intel mobo broke, so he got his "backup" 8350 waiting for a replacement, and his arma 3 fps HALVED on the AMD chip (with fitting high-end mobo).

At that res, with Arma 3 especially, the CPU is going to be important.

I've tested it with an 8350, an i5-4440, and a i7-4790K and..... You need the 4790K...

If you're going to be playing GTA 5 with all the eye candy on (As you should), stay away from the GTX 970. Stick with something like the 980, or wait for the 300 series to launch fairly shortly.

8GB of RAM Is basically a minimum, and pretty cheap these days so it's a no brianer.
