I want to get some M50Xs as a first pair, but my dream pair would be HD 800s. I remember @Lays had a pair, but IIRC, he sold them for a GPU.

M40x are better. The m50 is good for bass and the m40x is good for mids and everything else

  • Superlux HD330
  • Philips SHL3100
  • Panasonic ErgoFit
  • TDK EB300

Superlux HD330 is my daily driver... SHL3100 if I want to hear things differently... ErgoFit on my laptop and walkman... TDK EB300 when the neigbors are being noisy again...

 

Bonus:

Kenwood 3.3kW Component system when I feel like being noisy... like right now (blasting 1912 Overture (w/ cannons))...
