Good way to test if GPU is deing?

Carde

Well it wouldn't be the first time I have GPUs die on me, risk of the OC fun of course. However I do wonder if there are ways to be more certain, currently I am artifacting like it is no ones business in The Secret World (getting worse in there). However World of Warships is fine and neither Unique Valley or 3Dmark is showing anything. So is there an other way to know what the state of the cards is?

Run a stress test or a benchmark, See if you get any artifacting.

Is your card overclocked atm? If it is, I would restore the clock speeds and run some benchmarks and see if you see any artifacting

Actually they are under clocked atm :P

Also as said I ran both valley and 3Dmark without any artifacting.

Yikes. Furmark doesn't cause it to artifact then... maybe the card is fine? Or perhaps it's one particular RAM module that is bad. Maybe time to take it apart and clean it up a bit.

Gah. Can't get over that. Furmark of all things failed to murder a GPU.

Going to troubleshoot some more tomorrow, taking out 1 card and just run them both independent.

Might just RMA the things see what they say, they are within warranty :P

Ok just took them out and tested 1 by 1 in furmark briefly and loaded into TSW.

Neither where showing artifacts.

However there is a 20FPS difference between both cards in the same area in TSW, however both score the same in furmark.

Just more confusion, if it goes like this I might just fry em on purpose at least I know what is what than :P
