Rexchaos

Hey guys @ Linustechtips,

in a dilemma right now as to which 10keyless keyboard to get.

I know a bunch of you guys would say that Razer doesnt use cherry mx switches now and how bad it is but i really like the look.

The poseidon uses kalih switches i believe but how bad are they in ratio? The look and the price really looks nice.

as for the last one the cm, i like it but it doesnt come backlit, biggest problem and aesthetically pales to the rest.

Open to other suggestions also!

unless you cannot afford it. It has the nicest 10 keyless implementation in my opinion.

Razer's new keys suck ass. And this is coming from a Razer user. I have the last MX Blue board that they made, and while I love it, their new stuff is sub-par.

I'd recommend the K65 from Corsair for sure. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823816015&cm_re=65_corsair-_-23-816-015-_-Product

This. Or CM Quickfire Rapid.

The quickfire rapid is always high praised by lots of people. Not sure if the TK is now the "better" quickfire rapid :P

The Rapid is better built from my experience not saying the TK isn't good quality it's just not as good. :P

I'd recommend the third one. The thing is, you like the look of the razer keyboard but it the keys feel terrible it has failed as a keyboard. Get the cooler master one :P

If you want to stick with Cherry MX, the Quickfire Rapid is an excellent choice for a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard. At B&H though the Quickfire Rapid is less than $100. But if you are on a tight budget and still want to catch the feels of a mechanical keyboard, the Poseidon is a good budget mechanical tenkeyless board. If you haven't felt what Cherry MX switches feel like, you'll be fine using Kailh switches.
