Reserve Windows 10 Button

My windows 10 button hasn't appeared even though i have a fully legitimate copy of windows 8.1 and i've install all the important, recommended and optional updates on the list. Any ideas?

they dont show up at the same time for everybody

you can try restarting if you havent done that already

I was in the same boat. Go to your control panel then go to the windows update and click check for updates. Do that like 3 times and then it will show up. All you will see is a little white windows logo in the toolbar if you have it.

They all will not show up at the same time, I checked my dads laptop and he does not have it yet but I do. May also be a regional thing.

My windows 10 button hasn't appeared even though i have a fully legitimate copy of windows 8.1 and i've install all the important, recommended and optional updates on the list. Any ideas?

I found mine in the optional updates tab in the windows update window. remember to click check for updates and tick the optional updates

Interesting ,It appeared on all of my computer that is connected to VPN (Netherlands) 24/7 and yet my server didnt get it even though updates are enabled.

its just how the update is working, it took my moms computer 5 hours for it to show up on hers after windows update ran 3 times while on mine it showed up instantly. it apperes to be completely random.

It showed up on my "franken-server" build.  Hasn't shown up on my gaming rig.

It is listed as ""Update for Windows 7 (KB3035583)"" on Win7 machines.  On Win8.1 it should still be listed as the (KB3035583) update in the Windows update panel.
