Posted May 30, 2015 Hi all, I'm planning on ordering computer parts for a mATX build in a couple weeks. PCPartPicker Link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Tb8yrH I'm curious to know, will two GTX 970 Strix cards fit in the Fractal Node 804? As I'm planning to do a SLI setup to "future proof" my rig so that I don't have to upgrade for a while. On that same note, if you have any other advice for me with the Node 804, I would be glad to hear it, as this is my first build... Thanks! -Duncan

Posted May 30, 2015 They will fit fine, but don't get a open air cooler if you are going to SLI go with a Blower style cooler, at least not the Strix (a good amount of them have power delivery and overheating issues) Personaly i would go for the reference 970 if you can get it (i think bestbuy has them) or ASUS Turbo CPU - i5 4690K @ 4.5Ghz l CPU Cooler - Nepton 240m l GPU - MSI GTX970 gaming 4g 2-way SLI l SLI Bridge - MSI Gaming 2-way L Pro l Mobo - MSI Z97-G45 Gaming l RAM - 2x8GB Vengeance Pro 2133mhz DDR3 l PSU - Corsair HX750i l SSD - 2x Samsung 840 Evo 250GB in raid 0 | HDD - WD Black 2TB | Case - NZXT H440 Red/Black l OS - Windows 10 l Mouse - Logitech G502 l MousePad - XTRFY NiP lightning l KeyBoard - Corsair Vengeance K70 RGB (Red) | Headset - Asus ROG Spitfire | Monitor - Asus PG279Q - VG248QE l PCPP - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sxTpsY | Please don't buy CX PSU for a high end PC
 I originally had HyperX Fury DDR3 16GB 1866MHz memory as it was somewhat low-profile, but then I saw that the Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 1866MHz kit was a few $$ cheaper on PCPartPicker and it looked better so I changed it to that. I'm wondering if I should switch back to the HyperX Fury...? -Duncan
