Does anyone know what this is? "AMD TROPO XT2"

blastedryan

It's apparently the graphic card for the new Lenovo Z51 but there seems to be no info on it other than 2GB DDR3. Can you guys help me find the specs?

I'd guess it has more to do with an architecture (well, code name...) rather than a specific card.

Z51: Integrated Intel*, or up to AMD R9-M375

Doesn't seem to have that 2GB DDR3 though.. Are you sure that is right? GPU's nowadays mostly have GDDR5

Looks like a new GPU in the M300-series. Surprised at that actually, rumours were suggesting they were all going to be rebrands.
The 2GB DDR3L is odd, but my Geforce 840M uses DDR so I'm not *hugely* put off by that. I'm guessing M380(X) or M390(X). 2GB of VRAM is small for that class of card, but if the GPU is derived from Tonga with the architecture improvements on memory use that'd make sense.
Maybe this means the desktop 300-series is also gonna a have new GPUs in it (other than Fiji, of course) :D
