Should really ask the schools admin if they start folding on all those PCs when they are not used, can you set up those Programms so that they only mine at certain times?

I don't remember how it is with folding (I presume you can set such preferences as well),

but BOINC can be pretty finely tuned when it comes to settings.

It would lead to significant power increase for the school's computer pool though. :D

Yeah, don't know how the power bill is handled, but imagine how much the news would report on "researching cancer" in a school. As long as you sell it good enough there is a chance

Yay!

I think I'm only helping with Collatz and Enigma at the moment unfortunately.

Actually, summer months, so, not much happening or else my house will burn down....

Yeah, I noticed you scaled back a bit, but indeed it would not be beneficial if your

house or PC burned down. :D

I love doing this stuff, but when it results in my office being 90F while I'm trying to do my job - it's just a bit too much :(.

Woot woot. I wish there was more consistent points between projects.

Oh, that would be really freaking nice. But alas...

(And let's just not talk about Bitcoin Utopia.)

Yeah, I know the feeling. My box puts out between 500W and 550W when running BOINC, and

even though I can bear it, it is noticeable in the warm summer months. Luckily I have

good cooling, so the computer is not in danger, but my room definitely gets warmer.
