Use Android Phone on PC Desktop

Linus quickly mentioned the "ASUS PC Link" in his zenphone 2 review, which allows you to have your phone fully emulated and useable on your desktop. It would appear that it's only available for that phone so does anyone know of another app? I have an M8.

I have airdroid on pc and my android phone. And i can fully control my phone from it. Text, call, transfer files, or just use it remotely.

AirDroid. Needs root for mirroring though

Ok. I'll have to look into it. I like the idea of being able to respond directly quick to a text message when I'm on my computer. I much prefer a full keyboard than a phone keyboard.

Oh, you can do that without root on AirDroid, it's just that mirroring needs root, and is a lot harder to get set up and working properly. If you just want to be able to text from your PC though it works great for that out of the box.
