Google Won’t Be Able to Control Upcoming Glass OS

Google Glass is an admittedly interesting and intriguing device but in many ways Google has ruled over all Glass units with an iron fist leading many developers to develop tools to limit Google’s control over the device.

Really why would people want to report such stuff until AFTER glass has launched? Since Google can still pull the plug on the entire device or completely lock it down by making it impossible to root. However after lauch if something like this arose Google would only be able to use software, and that wouldn't go to well.

Well two things. 

 

1.  They would not pull the plug on a device they have spent years working on as well as hundreds of millions of dollars on.

2.  Basically impossible to completely lock down the device and Google has already practically encouraged people to tweak Glass by saying that there were holes intentionally left open.  Google's not going to lock anything down in that fashion.
