HELP ME!

My mom brought my dads laptop out to paint some walls. She leaves for lunch and comes back, then goes home a few hours later. That night I cleaned the laptop (Mac) and noticed the whole thing got a ruff surface feel. Its not paint, (it looks like super small dots of dark grey on the metal, but its black on the keys, and blends on the screen) I don't know what it is. When I asked her if she knew about this she freaked out and grabbed the mac, and started trying:

WD-40

Alcohol

 

Nothing worked. She's worried af, (my dad isn't really someone you want to get mad).

 

Pls help me. Your help will be truly be appreciated!! =D

@Xmaxx44X Photo? This happened as a result of you cleaning it right? What did you clean it with?

If they are so small, is it really a problem? It may have been some sort of acid, or something that reacts differently on the metal and the rubber. Ask your mother what substances she may have spilled in its general direction while she was painting.

So... glue? If it is glue, try to determine exactly what sompound that was and look for a compatible solvent. Making sure that it doesn't ALSO dissolve rubber of course.

I would go buy some Plastic razer blades, they will be able to remove the bumps of glue while not damaging the surface.
