This is the last comment I am going to waste my time putting, look at the games he wants to play, they barely use 2gbs of Vram on ultra ( I had two 7850 in cf until recently) bf4 never went above 1.8gb, as that is the most intense game he will not have problems.

Yes and that 100 MB's is a lot, in terms of GPU Vram.

Not when we are talking about 2gb vs 4gb, If we were talking about 1gb vs 1.5gb Yes, But not on this scale.
