So. Zotac was nice enough to give me two options for my RMA replacement of GTX 770 2gb. 

 

#1

GTX 770 4gb

 

#2

GTX 960 2gb

 

If I decide to get the 770, I would either SLI it with used 770 or trade for a R9 290 which my buddy offered me that still has 1 yr of in store replacement warranty. 

 

What do you guys think?

 

I do 1080P games

At 1080p probably the 960 would be your best bet especially considering what nvidia (might) be doing with there old gpus and nerfing them.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

get the 770 and trade it for the 290 or go for SLI.

 

What do you think about HIS 290. 

How does their after market cooler perform?
