Honest opinions on my rig

David_Chrisp

HI :)  Here are a couple of photos of my rig, I am on a budget so its by far not the best. It does more than what i need it for. Specs are at the bottom of the page. Taken a long time to get where I'm at! Sorry for the quality too... Opinions? Future upgrades? Hope you enjoy

I think it looks bawling (not sure what bawling means though)

Besides meaning awesome, cool, etc. I am not sure if it has a meaning either

You should put that Galaxy Hall of Fame GPU. Would be a perfect theme for your PC

If you're not overclocking it, I'd remove one of the fans from the CPU cooler. It's a bit to bulky at the moment i.m.o.

For the rest I'd say you've done a good job, maybe a modulair Corsair PSU with white sleeved cables in the future to top it off.

i would make the fans on the h80 an intake, so you push the hot air into the case, and the top fans can exhaust it out, well not that corsair fans have any airflow or pressure to them.

Its only a minor detail but I hate the look of that crossfire bridge should just be black..

Everything else is looking mighty sweet

I couldn't agree more, its awful. I'm carbon wrapping it today see if that helps the looks of it

You done some awesome work in terms of cable management, Also love the low profile Vengance ram. If it were my rig I'ld sleeved them cables white and put a black or white sli bridge in to match the rest of the rig though.

Thank you  yeah that really bugs me, looks messy

I really like it! You could've changed/used different GPU's because of the blue PCB. Also: Sleeved Cables.

Something you could do right away is remove the sticker of your PSU, just to make it look a lot cleaner.

Overall this is a 8/10.

Sleeve your cables individually, get a black crossfire bridge, peel the sticker off the PSU or get some black vinyl to cover it up, get GPU's with a black PCB and for the love of god get better pictures. :(

the colour scheme in the top half looks really good, its just a shame it falls apart in the bottom half. put black backplates on the graphics card, get a white sli/crossfire bridge, remove the psu sticker and sleeve the cables white. secondly you have a strong negative pressure inside your case, its going to be caked in dust soon. move the top 2 exhaust fans to the front and make them intakes that way you have more air coming into the case than out of it and this will give you a positive pressure that will stop a lot of dust from building up in the case. (put fan filters on the intakes if you case doesn't have them)

I think if you got some white bitfenix cable extensions, and did something about the crossfire bridge it would be near perfect :)
