Windows 10 upgrading within 1 year - supported games?

Hey guys,

so if I upgrade from my Windows 7 to windows 10 within the first year, which I will probably do, will there be enough supported games for me to play?

So at the release of Windows 10, will The Witcher 3 be supported on Windows 10 with all that DirectX 12 and stuff? Or - Will it even start?

I want to know if Witcher 3, Arma 3, CoD Black Ops 2, Tomb Raider, and GTA 4 will run on Windows 10.

Also, for example:

If Windows 10 releases on the second of june, and I upgrade the next year on the first of june, or somewhat before the 1 year is over, and then will I still have windows 10 fully after the second of june or do I have to buy it then?

Thanks,

Marc

SINP

99% of all games will run on Windows 10 just like all games run on 7 and 8 and 8.1 etc

Only games madeusing DX12 (or ported later) will support DX12

Perhaps the better question to ask is what games will support dx-12, I think it's only windows 10 that will ultilize dx-12. However I doubt we'll see dx-12 only games, however DICE are looking into doing it, but most likely they will use both vulkan and dx.

CPU: Intel 3570 GPUs: Nvidia GTX 660Ti Case: Fractal design Define R4  Storage: 1TB WD Caviar Black & 240GB Hyper X 3k SSD Sound: Custom One Pros Keyboard: Ducky Shine 4 Mouse: Logitech G500

All games that runs on Windows 8 should run fine under Windows 10. I don't have the mentioned games, but you can try them under Windows 10 Insider Preview.

As for DirectX12 games. It will take time before you see them.

You can upgrade to Windows 10 for free up to the deadline set. Allow a few hours (all depending on your connection speed, and computer speed), before the deadline to allow you to have time to download, install and activate Windows 10 in time, before the deadline. Keep in mind that servers might be busy on the last week.
