I was looking for an SSD for a PC im gonna build and I saw that some write speeds are lower if the capacity of the drive is lower. Is a drive with 450mbs write gonna be noticably faster than a drive with 185mbs write?

The SSD I want to buy is the Transcend SSD370, but ive heard great things about Crucial SSDs.

It depends on how heavily you write data. For general use, it's not something that you'd notice.

So do you guys think I should go with the Transcend SSD? Its cheaper, but I dont know if theyre thrustworthy since I have never seen anyone recommend it.

Where are you located and budget? We may be able to find you a good SSD for the price.

I live in the Netherlands and I want a 120/128gb SSD for my OS. I want it to be under €70. Prices are a lot different here than in the US, so Its Linda hard to find one that is really cheap in both the US and Europe.

You can pick up a Samsung 850 EVO 120GB for around 80 EUR after tax. It's a very good drive. http://www.misco.nl/product/300228366/SAMSUNG-SSD-850-EVO-120GB?fromProductList=1

There's also the PNY Optima 120GB that's a good entry SSD, for around 70 EUR http://www.misco.nl/product/300173514/1K-P-E-ENDURANCE-MINIMUM?fromProductList=1

EDIT: The BX100 from Crucial isn't bad either http://www.misco.nl/product/300245547/120GB-Crucial-BX100-SATA-2-5-7mm-with-9-5mm-adapter-SSD?fromProductList=1

To be honest, you won't notice much of a difference between any of them for normal use. They're all much, much faster than HDDs and are all worth it.

Samsung 850 evo is really good, but the Transcend SSD370 is cheaper and has faster reads. I guess Samsung is a really trusted brand though.
