So, I think that I f*cked up my pc

I was trying to download Sony Vegas Pro 12 32 bit using torrent.( I know, pirating is bad. Shame on me)

So, I found a litle bit harder a 32 bit version but I did. It had everything. The installer, the keygen, installation guide. Everything

So, I double clicked on it but it didn't happen anything. After 3-4 seconds the mouse looked like something was working. As I saw that, being a litle suspicious I opened task manager to see the running proceses and in the meantime some windows appeared and dissapeared quickly on the screen. I couldn't find anything suspicious in the task manager, the only thing that I saw it was that I couldn't find any sonivegas.exe process

Then some icons started appearing on the screen. Now I got really impatient. 3 shortcuts appeared on the screen. Driver scanner, Speed Up my pc, and another one which I don't remember. I found 1 process in the task manager and shut it down and uninstalled the programs whitout opening any, except of speed up my pc which I opened accidentaly but I closed within seconds.

After that, I calmed down and tried to download another torrent but then I found the big problem.(I use chrome). I couldn't download anything. It started downloading but when it was completed it said that the antivirus couldn't scan the file which is weird because I don't use any antivirus program. I tried restarting my pc thinking that this would resolve the problem but it's worse. I can't access any site. It tells me that the security certificate has been cancelled, that I might be communicating with an attacker.

I tried using IE but I can't download anything because everything looks like it's getting deleted when it's complete( I tried to run the program, not to save it, but it didn't work either)

Please, I know it's a lot to read but i'm desperate. Right now I'm trying to download an antivirus with my phone and then to copy it on the pc but I don't know if it will work.

Don't forget to try out Malwarebytes. Secondly, open Resource Manager and check what's downloading and uploading data and look for anything that you don't recognize.

Note: I do not condone piracy or anything illegal. Delete any files that you may have obtained illegally or that are illegal for you to have.

Ok, first of all i think you are a victim of malware, second the three programs that got installed are usaully sponsors of many free softwares (they usually tell you if you want to install them), BUY a proper antivirus and scann you computer.

No antivirus will help you now.Stop the pc,re-install the windows(re-format any hard disk you have) and you are done. You can use a program like data recovery(trust me it works i recovered some music and pictures from a drive after i re-installed the windows) and that's it next time don't use torrents from any sites.

People shouldn't be helping someone who doesn't pay for their products. If you're going to pirate do it with at least some knowledge before hand so you know what and what not to download. Illegal downloads are your problem, you download a virus don't come to a forum and expect any help unless the forum is about pirating in the first place.

All things being said against the CoC - not sure what version of Windows you are using, but reboot - and just before the Starting Windows comes up, start hitting F8 - should get the boot menu. Start Windows in Safe Mode with networking.

Should then be able to install the following and run - Malewarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware. Run one, remove what it finds, reboot back into safe mode, run other. Rinse and repeat. Keep doing this till they both find nothing.

Now - go to www.eset.com and run the online scanner. Finally, download and run ComboFix.

All these, should clean out your system.

And BTW - don't pirate... enough said...
