My new Asus Strix GTX 970 ramps up to 100% randomly and goes down again. Some times it lasts up to 5 min and its pretty loud. Anything i can do to fix this?

I have been seeing lots of problems with people that have Titan x's doing this, wondering what the issue is.

Are you sure it's not just the fans going from off to on, from the "0 db" feature?

Hmm..

Do you use afterburner? Could you take a picture of it perhaps?

I'd say make your own fan curve, since you have a strix you can make one like this:

If your fan curve that's built into your BIOS is messed up somehow, this should fix it.
