I am going to upgrade my mobo and cpu tmr, only both of that nothing else and what should i do?

 

do i have to reinstall window 8.1?

 

anything i should do with the old mother board that i wanna sell?

 

 

any do and don't ?

It will delete everything on the hard drive, so back up your important information like documents, photos, music, etc.

 

Games and programs will need to be re-downloaded and installed.

Ok. Yes, the data on your HDD/s and SSD/s will "disappear". Make sure to back it up.

Most applications will have to be re-downloaded though.

@H4X3R wow shit. but i install my windows in ssd only anyways to not affect my hdd? cause the files is huge with all those games.

Yes. Just make sure you copy anything you need from your documents, downloads, etc. folder onto your HDD as they will be erased from the SSD (HDD will not be touched). Any programs you have installed to the SSD like web browser, media players, office, etc. will need to be reinstalled.

@Aniallation and btw, my steamapp folder is there but not the whole steam program. So am i able to not reinstall everything after moving it? tht will suck a lot because one of it is a gta v.....which take days to download

well someone told me you install the new mobo, go to device manager and uninstall all the greyed out stuff (old CPU probably) and then install intel drivers
