intel core i5 650 and 8 gigs of ram

Your problem is that cpu it's bottlenecking your gpu.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

well the 5770´s are realy old and basicly low spec´d cards for now days standards.

So it might be something else then a cpu bottleneck.

But yeah those first gen i5´s are indeed aged aswell.

my whole pc is extremely aged haha

but if my cpu is bottlenecking, why do my GPUS dont use their full potential?

Cos thjat's exactly what CPU-bottlenecking means.  Your CPU is crunching game data so much that it doesn't have time to work with the GPU, leaving your GPU sitting around waiting for instructions.

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

When there is no danger of failure there is no pleasure in success.

could be a cpu limitation,

but also be a driver issue, or not properly configured crossfire settings.

install msi afterburner, and post some printscreens, we need to know how the scaling is over both gpu´s.

cpu bottleneck seems to be most likely, but it could also be something else.

Your CPU isn't bottlenecking, your CPU IS the bottleneck. The GPUs aren't using their full potential because the CPU can't give them enough work to do.

Thanks to you two guys :)

So I am basically forced to buy some new gear. Anyways, my Pc lasted like 4-5 years, i can't complain haha

new cpu + mobo + ram, and new gpu never hurts. :P

I was thinking of a 4790K, some standard Mobo and a GTX 980 so it lasts quite a long time as well. But with that I need a new PSU and as you said I thought of a new set of RAM as well. Then  a SSD and CPU cooler and there we are, 1500€. Since I'm a younsgter lol I'll be talking to my parents and I'll maybe wait for 980ti and R9 3XX to releasem, so prices will fall.

Anyways, if I want to stick to PC gaming I won't get around purchasing a new machine.

ah yeah the European prices are terrible atm i know.

4790K + 980 (Ti) 390X will of course be a geat combo.

However, you could of course go cheaper if you dont botter overclocking or dual gpu setups.

locked i5 or Xeon e3-1231-V3 or 1241-V3 (if you want 4 cores 8 Threads) + cheaper H97 board, would of course also be a decent combo with a highend gpu.

If you are considering a 980 but price is an issue, you should look into a 290x/970. Much cheaper and not far off in performance. Definitely better bang for the buck
