So im getting my first PC, but i want to get a nice one, does this look like a okay PC? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zVJGMpThe PC is mainly for gaming but i might, just might do a little bit of twitch (a live-streaming website) , just to see how it is. If you think i should add or take away anything, please say so, i really would like to hear some advise if needed.

I am planning on keeping the case, even though it makes the build 100$ more than the budget, i think it suits it well.

Same with the SSD, i know the EVO is similar but i like the bit of a red feature and its also a bit faster.

Looks awesome man! I had an h100i just bought a Noctua D15 best choice ever... Same performance with a third the noise... You'll have to get sniper series G.skill instead of ripjaws because of height, but that's if you get the noctua

Seriously, get a better PSU. The CX series are NOT meant for 1600 dollar builds. I'm not sure what the best PSU is at the moment, but a more suitable PSU is gonna cost at least $100.

An i7 is an excellent cpu! If you can afford it get that instead you won't be sorry. You literally have a really good setup. A 256gb ssd is amazing, wish I would have gotten that size ssd at the time. For looks and wiring get a fully mod psu like an evga 650w or 750w... More leaning towards a 750w or 850w that way in a few years you could go sli

Little point getting such an expensive cpu cooler just for gaming.

Why such a large case?

Pricing doesn't affect the component.

The i7 is more for video rendering and editing and gives a little more bonus in streaming but not much so if you won't stream much the i5 is going to do what you want it to do. And anyone else correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the MSI Gaming 5 just as good or better than the Gigabyte Gaming 7? If it is you can drop to the MSI Gaming 5 for an extra $10 saved.

i hear this is an amazing cooler for the price and if i plan on overclocking, it will help.  The case, well i did not know it was that large of a case to be honest. just saw good reviews on the case and it matched the black and red colors i got going.  Plus, the thing looks soooo good.  i guess the space will help in the future in case i add more stuff to it?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/j4zxmG Personal preference Id go with this, I don't like big huge cases. I went with a bit better PSU and a little cheaper Mobo but is still very good and a better HDD. Yours will do just fine like I said what I did is more or less personal preference.

quick question, does bigger cases cause more dust?  is that the reason everyone/ most people dont like big cases?

not that I know of. Most full size cases to me are ugly and I just prefer not to have a huge box sitting on my desk :).

dont blame ya, i agree, butt this will look very nice with some proper red LED lights with it (i can only find blue at the time but im looking for  nice red ones) and i am also planning on trying out what Linus advised with the PrimoFlex LRT Advanced Water Cooling Tubing, from his video here.

other than that, i hope the build looks great, and also performs well.  (right now i have this PC http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c02629096<--- is the company specs for it) and as you can see, this new PC should be alot better

No way I've got a HP Pavilon but it's from 2012 not 2010. If you want to do a custom loop get a full tower but if you just want some nice LEDS a mid tower will work just as good.

It isn't an amazing cooler and that isn't that good of a price. The h100i didn't have much competition when it was first released but the playing field has changed since then.

No but larger than necessary cases tend to have worse airflow.

Something like this would be better: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mzmjQ7

hey, i just want to thank you for the advise.  but there is one thing i do want to say, do you think the case i had planned out was too big, because if it is okay, im getting it.  i know there are probably better cases for the job, but with the fans in the front might do the trick.  im only asking because personally, this is by far one of my favorite cases.  do you think it will have really that bad of airflow?

It doesn't have bad airflow but smaller cases can achieve similar cooling with less fans. If it's the red you're after, you can always just get led fans or strips.

Personal opinion, I prefer 7 over 8.1 by miles, and yes, Win 7 gets a free update to 10.
