Even though Afterburner is pretty cautious regarding voltages, don't mess with them yet.

Up the core clock and do a 10 minute stress test on furmark. Repeat until you see artifacts. Then do the same to the memory clock.

i just go in a game and play, if it crashes on launch ill just lower speeds then everything is fine

should i leave the voltage?

Just go to the max you can on the stock volts, and then if you want the extra performance try out the volts. Msi afterburner wont let you apply enough volts to cause your chip any more harm than the extra heat, so it isnt really a problem.

Too much work. I prefer furmark or valley, even though furmark is way more intensive.

If you don't change the voltages, then the limit won't be changed automatically.
