Temperatures not the same..

flatline

Hi all,

I have a problem with the accuracy of the temps that is being shown for my CPU.

image.jpg

As you can see HW monitor is displaying a high temp rating for my cpu but the gigabyte tool is displaying a different result.

What i have tried

Updating BIOS version from F8 - F9

Reinstalled my OS

Replaced CPU coolers from CM Seidon 120m to Noctua NH-D14

Cleaned the CPU with 90% alcohol and re-applied thermal paste

Tried Beta Drivers from AMD

Tried normal drivers from AMD

nothing worked.

My rig:

CPU: AMD A10 7850K

Mobo: Gigabyte G1 Sniper A88X

Ram: Gskill Sniper 2x4gig Kit 1600

Vcard: Sapphire R9 270x Dual X

PSU: Seasonic M12II 620 Modular

Case: CM Haf XM

Fans:

1x200mm intake front

2x200mm exhaust top

1x140mm exhaust rear

1x120mm hdd cage

Ambient temp is ok as i have my room air conditioned

Any suggestions as to what else I can do?

The HWMonitor is better then the other program you have. It gives more Real-Time results faster, while it seems like the gigabyte give an estimate. that or it's not giving anything at all.

plus it makes more sense for your CPU is at 69C then at like 30C

CPU: Pentium G3258 @ 3.2GHz || GPU:(first release,used) MSI R9 270 OC || Motherboard:MSI Z97-G45 Gaming Motherboard || RAM: 8 GB G.Skill Sniper 1600 || Monitors: Vizio 22 in Ultra slim 1080p TV || Storage: Seagate barracuda 160 GB 7200RPM,(REFURB) 1TB toshiba 7200RPM || PSU: (stripped from 2013 CAD PC)Corsair CX600 build was under $420
