Bread.....

It's hard to find good bread where I live. Bakers Delight (chain bakery) where I am have gone way down hill in terms of quality and they're charging close to $5 a loaf which is just insane. Just about every mass produced bread the supermarkets sell is anywhere up to a week old by the time it hits the shelves (according to my mate who is a baker for Coles supermarkets) and the small locally owned bakeries have started to vanish thanks to Coles, Woolworths & Aldi selling $1 loaves of bread.

My local Woolworths supermarket however do make rather acceptable fresh baked bread every day. Apart from that we make our own bread from time to time, which is always nice. I've also gotten into the habit of making my own pizza dough, which imo is better than any of the pizza shops in the area produce even though they all make dough fresh every day.

As for what I like on my bread, normally it's some kind of cold meat, corned beef, ham, roast beef, lamb, pork or chicken along with tomato, grated carrot, avocado, beetroot, lettuce and some mayonnaise, always tasty. or i'll opt for a toasted sandwhich with some kind of meat, with chutney or pickles with cheese, awesome on a cold day.

I have toast most days for breakfast, typically with either peanut butter, left over chicken or whatever from the previous night's dinner or eggs. I also eat bread with thing like soups, instant noodles and other such things. Also, I have garlic bread with dinner when we have things like pasta or pizza.

Yeah but it's just easier to buy it :P

yeah you're right its easier.

then again why bother building your own PC its easier to just buy.

why bother with the hassle of gaming on PC. console is plug and play.

there is a sense of satisfaction and pride that you cant monetize, and knowing how to cook is proven panty remover

Well I can cook but bread I would rather buy whole because bread here is just good quality.

Should I knit my all own clothes too?

Should I construct my own keyboard?

You get the point, there is a point where buying whole is more than okay.

I eat rice everyday ...

But I do like my bread with vegetables and meat with a ratio of 3 vegetables : 1 meat . Along with Hollandense ( Oh my god I spelled it horribly ) . You should try our version of Bread here . We use small breads , not Baguette or sandwiches . It's amazing .

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...

I like the baguettes our local grocery store makes, I make really good ham sandwiches with those.

I really need to develop a more exotic taste preference :( I get plain burgers, plain sandwiches, plain tacos.... :c

That's good imo, some people are far too elitist in all their food choices. Eating plain keeps you humble in tastes and eating the best quality once in a while reminds you that there is better quality. Plus it's better for the wallet.

Im half spanish so im made of 50% bread.

Personally I'm eating less and less bread because i'm beginning to hate bread except for hamburgers, hamburgers are life and ciabatta too.

I hate bread because it does not fill me, I can eat 10 pieces of (dutch) bread - still hungry.

At work I like to use some greek yoghurt with honey and walnuts also add a banana and strawberries - can't move so full, so good.
