[Staples - Presumably US] 8000mAh Battery Pack

MblaZe7run

Acesori 8000mAh battery pack with battery life indicator, 2 USB ports (no amp rating listed). Comes in black or white for $12.99. Region is unconfirmed, I assume US only, feel free to check though. I know not how good the power pack is, but with the original price being $99.99, it's a steal in my opinion.

Keep in mind all of these batteries have original prices around $100, but are almost always listed at at most $50.

Very well, but at $13, I'll risk a lemon. They have a 14 day return policy if they don't work, assuming you kept the recipt and packaging (I work at Staples, it's how I found the deal)

It's not a question of them not working, it's a question whether or not it has the listed capacity over time. Having had bad experiences with riskier batteries packs such as this, I'd say it's worthwhile to just get something good upfront rather than buying/wasting money on something which won't last.

Understandable. I'm in the process of trying to find reviews on these packs, but it's a little difficult to do so while on the sales floor ;)

Kamashi is a cheap brand that's held capacity over a year and a half so far. In my family, 2 10ks and a personal 16k pack. All held up great

Not finding any reviews less than a couple months. Going to buy them and see how well they work, just for funsies :P I've only had one bad experience with a battery pack in the 8-10 or so I've had, and that was a RadioShack branded one that I never expected to last anyways. Hoping for the best here!

You want the D? the deal? Look on Amazon any day. They have 20000maH for around $40. I've had it for a year and a half. And my iphone is grateful. I only charge the pack once a month. I charge my phone daily. It'll charge my phone about 40 times on a single charge. And the built in led is magnified - don't look directly into it.

Here's the new model. 22400maH for 38.99.here

If you want to promote that deal, please make your own thread. @djdwosk97 had valid reasoning, showing me that this might just be Staples getting rid of an item because it sucks. You're just kind of promoting an item that doesn't have a purpose in this thread. Just irks me.

Also, no way in hell do you get 40 full charges off of a 20k mAh battery. Charging it once per month then discharging to your iPhone 40 times? Bull.

Didn't mean to get under your skin, sorry bout that.

But in truth, probably more than 40 times. As on the go as I am, I use the pack more than I use the wall. But I do think that the batt in my iphone is going....at less than 10% it dies, the as soon as I plug it in(wall or batt pack) it shows 10-15%.
