Not really sure as you will be playing with people from all over the world.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

It depends on your Internet connection and the location of the server you're playing on.

Doesn't effect ping. In fact, Intel HD should be enough for BFBC2 at 720p low settings

How do I update my gc driver?

When choosing which server to go on, filter it by the ping, so you arent playing on a server in Australia or something (unless you live there, in which case do choose a server in Australia xD)

I honestly dont see the reason so many people say that wifi is that bad. Unless im using a nas and need max throughput, i would not want to run an ethernet cable from half way across the house for the marginal difference i see in speedtest.net/ games...

Unless the router i beside a microwave or something it should not be that bad. And ethernet wont even help if the connection in his house is just generally bad/ has a slow mode/ router

Well if that wire happens to have some plastic hook on it and makes a clicking noise when it's plugged in, then you're good. That wire is called an Ethernet cord.

Ever have an AP over a hundred feet away through several walls? It's horrible.
