Graphic card for 3440x1440

gregderome

one 980 if u have more money, SLI 970.

:D

but if u got like 1000$ go for the SLI 980.

My question is would 980sli be worth over a Titan x ? Considering all the sli issues and the 4gb Vram only (I know it seems enough but for exemple on GTA5 max settings you can go over 5gb vram, shadow of mordor with HD packs need 6GB etc..)

Tbh i would want to get a card over 4gb vram, Its always the same, Everyone say you can make it on 1.5 then 2 then 3 then 3.5 then 4.

I just get a feeling that 4gb vram will be minimum by 2016 and gaming resolution will move in to 1440p.

This is my opinion anyway.

Just started playing lords of the fallen and somehow that game want loads of vram too. And im guessing witcher 3 and just cause 3 will use a lot of vram also.

  • 3 weeks later...

Finally got the EVGA Titan X SuperClocked. Can get 50+ fps in GTA5 with everything maxed out. Using around 6GB Vram though.

That card is a beast.
