Youtube problem with Safari

I have this problem where every time I play a youtube video on Safari, the video will turn black screen randomly during the playback but it will continue playing with sounds. Anyone having the same problem with their safari too? I've tried using Chrome and Firefox and they worked just fine. I'm using the latest safari 8.0.5 and OS X 10.10.3 btw. What could be the problem and any ways to fix this?

Oh you'd be surprised how much more intuitive and battery efficient Safari is on OSX. Plus I like the Keychain functionality and I really despise Chrome appetite for ram. Oh I use IE in Windows too. And BING as my main search engine.

Only happens if in theatre mode, full screen seems to bee working fine

Not for me in Safari. But YT works just fine in android.

It is, only Safari is much better. On par with if not better than Chrome and Firefox imho.

 

OSX I use Safari, Windows I use Opera. Linux I use Chromium.

I asked for the serial number so I could check the specs, because someone saying "imac 2011" doesn't help at all. 

Why do I need the model? So I can tell if you you're eligible for the recalls currently out, and even the class action lawsuit (if you purchased logic boards for certain models).

But hey, if you don't want my help, you can shove it up your fucking ass.

The new safari is actually great. It's basically chrome before chrome got bloated. Also, Safari doesn't suck like IE, because Safari uses WebKit (made by apple, same rendering engine as chrome and opera)

This is the internet and I've seen so many trolling posts going around in this forum so My apologise for thinking you were trolling but you could've asked it better like what model or hardware I have but I don't think any of that matters anyway. It's the top spec late 2013 RMBP 15.

Since you have a 2013 RMBP (which could mean one of 5 machines BTW), it's likely software. 

Do a permission repair, and verify the disk in disk utility. 

You can also try running adware medic; as i've seen some malware affect safari in the last few weeks.

No malware detected btw. I have avast running too This youtube problem only appeared like few days ago. I think this is a YT end problem, not the users since others on different browser and OS are also reporting the same issue.

It could be a youtube end issue then, yes.

I would see if it goes away in the next few days on it's own, and keep checking for updates.
