On sale right now, it's a steel. Not exactly "cheap" but it's relatively low cost.

W-what pros, exactly?

AFAIK, pros usually use the FK1/2, EC2, Deathadder, Rival and to some extent the ie3.0.

Get the G502 Proteus Core, my friend is semi-pro and he uses this. I would also recommend the Corsair Vengeance M65 gaming mouse.

(G502: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Proteus-Tunable-Customizable-910-004074/dp/B00IRHE892

M65: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ARD5410/ref=twister_B00ATNFLDY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)

M65 is awful because it's laser, not good for low sensitivity.

G502 is too expensive even compared to expensive mice.

Best value mice are G302, G402, SS Rival.

I've seen you before... ;)

So I was looking at the Cm storm keyboard and mouse bundle and was wondering how good the mouse it comes with it

wow that's crazy, a thousand dollar build with a 20 dollar mouse. Sounds like you are really gimping yourself. That is your main way of controlling your machine, don't skimp so hard on the mouse. That g402 is fantastic for the price still. It's normally $60

it is average...but it is better to get keyboard and mouse separately to get good quality components. $20 is kind of cheap for a mouse.
