What is the best cheap mouse?

Nohemi

shroud, hiko used g100s for a while before g302 came out.

n0thing still uses it. it's a flawless sensor and no additional buttons.

Crazy - if your logic is that these players use these mice so you should get that mouse, then you should use a screen resolution of 1024x768. Just saying.

1024x768 27

1280x960 10

1600x900 6

1680x1050 5

800x600 5

1280x720 4

1920x1080 4

1280x800 1

I'd recommend the G402 given limited funds. My kids have the CM Storm combo you're referring to and it's about as useful as a spoon in directing the mouse pointer and clicks.

So I was looking at the Cm storm keyboard and mouse bundle and was wondering how good the mouse it comes with it

It's probably crappy, honestly.

I played for years 1.6 at 800x600. I also play CS:GO at 1024x768. It's just better for competitive gaming, tbh.

If you get the Video card at Amazon instead you save $11

I wouldn't get the Seagate drive - see this - pickup a Western Digital or HGST maybe this one for $69

If you buy your CPU and Board at MicroCenter (and likely other places) they give a discount if you buy them together - total for both is $250 here instead of the $304 total in your link

That's just a quick once over. Puts you at -$11 +$20 -$54 for a total savings of $45 and you get a better drive and mouse.

The G402 is $35 on Amazon here

Good luck have fun.

wow that's crazy, a thousand dollar build with a 20 dollar mouse. Sounds like you are really gimping yourself. That is your main way of controlling your machine, don't skimp so hard on the mouse. That g402 is fantastic for the price still. It's normally $60

If it's for those he really needs to drop his gpu down for something weaker for good peripherals...sounds like someone is wasting money.

They use those old resolutions because they are used to that and are afraid to change. There is also kind of an advantage in using 4:3 stretched on cs:go, it gets zoomed in.

Some pro players in league played in windowed mode with a window the size of 720p or something, you can't question that.

Not to mention their mouse choices have nothing to do with their resolutions.

This has never made a damn bit of sense to me. Seems like a moronic placebo people use that makes them think they improve their game. In reality it's also stretching your horizontal sensitivity if you will. You lose 1:1 movement, also just because the target is bigger on screen does not make the target a larger target, your spread is also increased horizontally. Honestly anyone looking to the ultimate competitive edge is going to be buying the new acer predator. 21:9 aspect gives you way higher field of view without causing the fish eye effect or making object smaller.

21:9 is not 144hz and tournaments don't have that.

Yes it is somewhat of a placebo.
