PARCC tests prevented me from learning and fucked up my Science, Math and all other classes due to the schedule my school had. I got a lucky A in science last quarter but it would've been a 95% instead of a 90% if we had another test that would have existed without PARCC. Don't get me started on math...

PARCC didn't really take up a lot of our time. The first one this year took five days and only untill 10:30-11:00 (testing starts at 8:30) The second time it took up 3 days and the same timings. Don't the first 3 or 4 PARCC not count in the first place anyway?

After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

I don't know but we had it for 4 weeks. They were only a month apart. Bullshit.

Can hardly call this digging, they have yet to be in a hole. Jon oliver shed some light however they hardly have done anything to keep digging. They've been doing this for years, its only now we realised they should be in a hole

You know what, standardized tests are only the beginning of the problems.

 

My biggest peeve with the US schooling system is this: successful schools (the ones with higher standardized test scores) get funded more, while lower scoring schools get funded less.

 

Now I'd like to know, what sort of fucking idiot came up with this idea? And more importantly: what other fucking idiots approved of this idea and let it get set in motion in the first place? How are we supposed to provide kids in secondary schooling and younger with a better education when they're struggling when we're not giving their schools the required resources to lead to success? Why is it that the already succeeding schools are getting more money, yet the ones that actually need it aren't? Oh, I know. Money.

 

These kids in lower end schools grow up on the short side of the education gap, and once they're out of their education they get to be on the short side of the ever so ginormous income gap. I feel bad for them.

 

That's only the beginning of how I feel about how completely fucked the system is in this country. If it weren't for me having to cram for this final tomorrow I'd be writing up a full page worth of complaints about education alone.

Really?! Well everyone discussed questions and certain specifics so we should all get suspended...

In there thing the teachers agree to it says that. Also some kids actually talked about it on twitter and got suspended.

Standardized tests try an AP psychology exam...100 questions 70 minutes and then for part 2 50 minutes, 2 five paragraph essays. Took it yesterday hardest test I've ever taken, but the FCAT ( florida. Something something something) is a breeze good thing I graduate this year
