Overclock Genie

Im thinking of using the Overclock Genie on my board to overclock my CPU.

 

On my old CPU which was a Bulldozer 4100 3.6Ghz it overclocked to a stable 4.1Ghz without anything else needing to be touched.

 

What am i likely to see on the chip i currently have which is in my signiture?

 

I will be saving a Bios profile before any overclocking just incase also.

its much better to manually overclock you might see like a 400mhz increase or so

As @spartaman64 said it is much better to overclock manually instead of using a built in software to do it for you.

 

For example, my OC Genie set my 4770k to 4.0Ghz but when I overclocked manually I managed to get it up to 4.4Ghz.

Sometimes it is good but more than not, manual will be  more worthwhile.

msi overclock genie it terrible, it uses way too much voltage and doesn't overclock very high. with your cooler i would see how high of an overclock you can get on 1.4v.
