Can I run computer without GPU?

So I am selling my 970s to buy a R9 295x2 and I was wondering if I can run my computer without a GPU. Specs:

  • CPU
    Intel i5 4960k
  • Motherboard
    ASUS Gryphon Z97
  • RAM
    Kingston 8gb DDR3
  • GPU
    Dual PNY GTX970 sli
  • Case
    Corsair 350D
  • Storage
    120gb Samsung SSD, 2TB Blue WD HDD
  • PSU
    Corsair RM850
  • Display(s)
    1 ASUS 21.5 LCD LED 21.5 monitor
  • Cooling
    Corsair sealed CPU loop

Yes, the 4690k has integrated graphics on it. Don't expect to game much on it though.

Ooh we just had one of these the other day! Someone else will prob have a lot more info than me but I'll say it first, don't get do it. 970SLI to R9 295x2 is a sidegrade, and you'll notice little performance increase, and actually sometimes decrease. Please wait for the 300 series, its almost here.

 

But yes, just plug your ol' cable into one of dem slots on yer moboboard there'

Yes because of your cpu but check your mobo to make sure it has a port that your monitor can plug into.

Yes I am going 4k next week and I want 4 GBs at least and also the R9 295x2 because it out preforms 970 sli. and I sold both my 970s and I won't have to pay a dime for it.

That is incorrect. It can utilize the full 4GB of VRAM - you are misinformed.
