Please don't go with 960 SLI - just buy a 970 if you really want the performance.

Right now you should really upgrade to a recent Core i5 and a good motherboard, not graphics.

Sig under construction.

As above, don't SLI 960's.

Either just get a single 280x - Which will play practically any game at 1080- 60 ultra anyway

or get a 970 because like the 280x it is good value and will last for quite awhile

But also as above i'd look at upgrading that CPU rather tha GPU right now

He doesn't own a GTX 970:

He owns an MSI manufactured AMD Chipset 970 motherboard :P The FX6300 is still a decent CPU, but is getting old fast and will soon be bottlenecking more seriously.

@blasterbros777 I'd recommend a Single GTX970 instead of a GTX960 SLI, Any premium brand will do well, there is only a 4GB variant (well, 3.5GB) for these cards though.

NCASE M1 i5-9600k  GTX 1080 FE Z370N-WIFI SF600 NH-U9S LPX 32GB 960EVO

I'm a self-identifying Corsair Nvidia Fanboy; Get over it.

1. 4GB as most games now have to render more objects.

2. G1 Gaming from Gigabyte.

3. They don't increase/decrease performance. One might be more reliable than the other. Nvidia.

Get a better CPU and Motherboard.

Also don't get 2x 960s, get one 970.

CPU: Intel i7-4790K @ 4.7GHz --- RAM: Lenovo 1600MHz 16GB --- MOBO: Gigabyte Z97-G7 --- GPU: EVGA GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0+--- PSU: Corsair CX600 --- Case: Corsair Air 540 --- Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61 --- OS: Windows 8.1 --- Monitor: 24" AOC G2460P + Dell 19" --- Mouse: Logitech MX Perfromance --- Keyboard: Corsair K70 (Cherry MX Brown) --- Audio: Sennheiser HD558

Don't buy a GTX 980, it's overpriced! Buy 2 GTX 970s or 2 R9 290s intstead (the R9 290s would even be cheaper)
