Replace cherry MX keyswitches without soldering

Nomelas
Go to solution Solved by Charger,

If it is a plate mount keyboard you have to desolder the switches unless you have a custom keyboard that was made to let you open the switches which is not something that any major company does

Anyone know if it's possible to replace cherry MX switches specifically on corsair quickfire series without soldering?

Not possible, they are soldered on.

not even just the top? the part that connects to cap is busted.. cant I just remove the top of the switch? i know its absolutely possible on a lot of mechanical keyboards
