The kitchen shot in this video looks pretty grainy and noisy

 

It was filmed in a third world country.

I know Linus was quite smitten with the Aorus X3 Plus. We need a head to head video review.

I prefer the Blade 14. The size is a good fit for me.

I went with the Aorus X3 Plus v3 awhile back. Spent a lot of time waiting for the 2015 Razer Blade but temptation got the best of me.

 

After the Razer Blade release I am still happy with the choice though...

The Aorus got the 6GB version of the 970m while the Razer has the 3GB.

 

The Razer Blade from what I can tell has 1 M.2 SSD slot versus the Aorus having 3 which gives the possibility for two drives in RAID plus a spare.

 

Aorus has some I/O not seen on the Razer (MiniDP, SD Card, Ethernet).

 

The Aorus has the same resolution screen (3200x1800) but it comes in a matte finish. This is a plus for me but I know some prefer glossy. 

 

 

The Razer Blade has it's perks though...

 

By default the Razer comes with 16GB of System Memory in comparison to the Aorus which comes with 8GB (can be upgraded to 16GB). 

 

Razer has a slightly faster processor. 

 

The Razer features a touch screen which I know some are a big fan of.

 

Razer build quality is off the charts fantastic. The Aorus has a unique look but at the end of the day it is plastic. 

 

The Razer also features a much smaller and lighter power brick. Which for a portable laptop for some this is key.

I kept expecting it to cut to Linus sitting in the middle of some ridiculous night club and he's just still using the laptop with that blank emotionless expression on his face.

No real need for this product for me.  If I get a life then maybe ...
