Follow your topic. Also try to put malwarebytes on a flash drive and running it off of there to clean it up if you have an extra PC to download it.

to be honest, I wouldn't trust anyone here with TeamViewer on my PC :P

Had malware a short time ago.

Basically: go into Control Panel > Programs > delete programs and uninstall the malicious stuff.

Run some virus scans and malwarebytes scan

go into C:/Program files (and program files (x86)) and delete all the wrong stuff and just repeat.

Try a virus scan (a quick one) before uninstalling stuff yourself I guess.

And after that try uninstalling the stuff yourself. There's probably another virus program installing AnyProtect again.

If you really can't delete all the stuff, you can just format the HDD too.

Well that's not fair. I've helped people via teamviewer from this forum and my friends before.

OP I'd be able to take a look shortly if you want, I can start a few scans.

EDIT: I can start some scans, but ultimately it's up to you to finish and remove them. I'm not going to sit around for hours waiting xD

when i get a virus then i usually like to re-install my OS because i have loads of useless shit on there anyway. but if there is anything of importance on your PC then i would recommend to run MSconfig and disable all programs that open on start-up just incase the virus is situated within there. i'd also recommend just having a quick read through the add/remove programs list to see if there is anything in there that may look suspicious or you are unsure of. i'd recommend running Ccleaner and disk defragment and if none of those do work then just save anything of importance onto an external drive and to re-install windows altogether unless you know of any other checks that i haven't listed.

it may also help if you posted your DXdiag and MSinfo into the forum so we can try reading through them (but not mandatory)...
