General Question on Electronic viewfinders.

Go to solution Solved by ShadowCaptain,

So, I was looking around the interwebs about stuff and I saw an article saying if you use the EVF, it consumes less battery and live view is turned off for mirrorless cameras, is this true for all mirrorless cameras? Just was curious.

The EVF consumes less power than the rear display but not by much - liveview is on constantly for mirrorless cameras, if you turned off live view, you would have no viewfinder lol

initally you are using a smaller screen say 2cm or whatever instead of 3 inch, so there's abit of battery saving, my guess is about 10% savings in power
