They are not RGB and are just bright white.

just want weather the leds on the side of the 780ti cards are rgb and can be changed to yellow

The leds are white, with a green acrylic diffuser on it (if im not mistaken), so it is really easy to make them white (by sanding off the top green layer), but its harder to get other colors

The leds themselves are actually white not green.

I know that. But they are always referenced as being green. 

 

Until of course the mod guides showed up.

are they rgb on the 900 series cards cause the reason i asked is cause i remember linus mentioning rgb leds (on a nvidia card to be clear)

The only 900 series card I know of that has RGB leds is the EVGA 980 KingPin, is that what you're looking for?
