7870 ghz edition ?

ok so i rma-ed my pc they added a new gpu card in it but i can not open the case as it will void the warranty so is there any way i can check if it actually has 7870 ?

 

msi afterburner and dxdiag shows its 7800 series card  

Who did you buy this from?

Benchmarks like 3dmark should tell you what gpu it is... but it might do the same thing as gpuz

 

either way, check the specs of a 7870, and compare them to what gpuz says for you

Seriously that's shit. How the hell are you supposed to clean out the pc.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

Yeap, if it breaks it voids the warranty. I've had 2 pre-builds in the past that do this.

I would just very carefully take off the sticker make a load of copies of it and then if you ever need to claim of the warranty just stick it back on.
