Windows 10

Go to solution Solved by GoodBytes,

You'll always ave bugs. An OS is a very complex peace of of software. Windows 7 still has bugs, despite all this Microsoft working on fixing what they can.

But Windows 10 has the largest, by significant amount, testers than any previous version of Windows.

You can upgrade to 10 when you want, keep in mind, Windows 10 upgrade is only free 1 year after it launches, after that you'll need to purchase it in stores.

Would it be a smart idea to move to windows 10 when it releases? I would think it would be best to wait as there might bugs, crashes, etc. What do you guys think?

what do you think the tech preview is for? lol

this isnt a game

its not meant to be released with bugs or issues

thats why they do months of testing with thousands of people and millions of case scenarios to remove as many bugs as possible

its not like they can patch something in a few days like they do in games

What they said, plus the Preview is already pretty much ready to be released, they're stilling adding functionality to it.

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

And yet EVERY windows release has had major issues at some phase or another... I for one will be waiting at least 6 months or till there is a DX12 game that I need it for.

Wait and see.. 3 months after release there will be headlines of "Every windows 10 user had their bank account hacked" exaggerated yes but you get the point, If it's not flakyness or random driver trouble it'll be a security flaw or something.. Besides there is no benefit to it till DX 12 is used in a game..

I don'T PreSS caPs.. I juST Hit THe keYboARd so HarD iT CriTs :P

Quote or @dzzope to get my attention..

well by that logic you're never going to upgrade to windows 10 until windows 11 comes out...lol

Vista was shit and I don't think it ever got fixed, but I forgot about all the previewing stuff.
