I run my three ASUS 24 in. (not exact measurement, but I don't care) 1080p 60hz monitors off of a single 970. It's not fantastic, GTA 5 on medium-high I find enjoyable, but it only gets about 30fps, Battlefield Hardline runs on high just fine, not sure about fps but they're somewhere in the high 50s. To be honest, I enjoyed the heck out of GTA 5 on three monitors, didn't even realize it was running at 30fps (with no motion blur) until I ran the benchmarks and saw the fps readout. Racing in first person is hella fun

It's doable, but if you really want to max everything you're going to need two cards, or a titan X

What kind of monitor is that? It doesn't even list a framerate or resolution. Seems overpriced without knowing more.

sorry forgot to quote.聽it is a eizo forris it is special designed to be put into multi screen setups as the frame is only 6mm. it is also an ips screen with a 4 mil response time.聽

What's the resolution? 1080? 1440? etc?

With a single 970 running my three 1080p monitors, I'd expect a 980 to be about 20% better. I can run ESO maxed out, BF hardline on high, and GTA 5 on high (but I only get 30fps on high for that one)

A single 980 is probably enough to play and be happy, unless you absolutely must have everything at ultra. Then you're gonna need two 980's or maybe a titan.

Oh. Well then a single 980 will be fine, maybe not ultra, but you should certainly be able to play most current games on high. and with two you'd probably be fine for a while.
