At the moment i get like 20fps in a warzone in SWTOR, my gpu is a Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 (OEM) my cpu is the same, do you think that upgrading it to the 970 will improve the fps?

What CPU do you have right now? The i5?

Because I dont know that game.. But I feel like the 760 should perform much better

Don't really know the game, but the performance of the regular 760 is significantly better than OEM. Not saying OEM 760 is bad, but I wouldn't be surprised if that is why and 20fps seems a bit low even for your card.

Do you think the GPU is behind it or the CPU?

*760 OEM* not the regular 760, it has 1.5gb vram, and 192 memory bus, its a bit worse than the regular 760

Hmm, very weird.. I looked at the system requirements of that game and it only asks for 256MB VRAM cards...

The problem must be that game, since you do get 70fps in BF4. I don't think your 760 is the problem, but a GTX 970 is still a good card

I hope its not the CPU - i plan on getting that cpu in a week or so

Probably your 760... although minimum requirements for SWTOR are really low

lol xD

whats your average FPS in bf4 ultra 1080p, i am just curious

haven't played it yet, will let you know when i do

currently I'm playing GTA V and I'm getting minimum 47FPS with everything maxed out at 1080p

if I decrease few things just a bit I jump to 60 fps no problem, but It never goes over 60FPS, i guess it's my monitors fault

In theory the 760 should perform better than that. It could be bad a bad game but yes a 970 should improve that no matter what...

Note: Its the *760 OEM* its got a 192 bit memory bus, and 1.5 gb vram, its inferior to the regular 760

It should still get better than 20FPS game. I am wondering if the game doesn't take advantage of the card very well, its not uncommon. I made a semi popular game awhile back, it was in vb6, when I re-made it in any other code it would get crap FPS, but that really did not matter much because it was a 2D pokemon looking game xD
