Hi folks, got any ideas on how I can Mix my PC’s audio source material to the desired outputs?
I was thinking some sort of Mixer, probably software because all the inputs that I want to be able to hear, individually or otherwise from my outputs are processed by my PC. As you know, Windows’ mixer only allows you to set the default output. So some sort of software; sounds logical. However, the miracle would be: if such software exists.
A hardware solution would be great too because making changes “on the fly” would be so much easier.
I don’t plan on expanding necessarily, what I am looking for is just for “ease of use” purposes. I will not be doing any professional audio recording. I just use my mic for TeamSpeak, Skype and some gameplay recording, nothing serious. The only thing I can see myself doing us adding another input or output for an even messier spider web of crazy.

I made a quick diagram of what I’m using now and how I’d like to use it. If you want to know what my PC hardware is like it’s in my signature; I think.

Here is where I would keep my frolics if I had any.

Dat font color... why???

Because when i looked at it with the night theme, it was white and black, so i picked one that would still show on both themes with out issues.

I have no idea how it ended up white and black lol.

So basically what youre trying to do is all audio on both except TS on headset only? If the headset is connected to the pc with usb you should be able to just set the TS to that output otherwise i dunno.

Can you not see the diagram?

Never mind.

 yes that's the idea

well the headset is my hd650s and the modmic.

I want to be able; god willing, to change where my source material goes.

My biggest dilemma is Spotify, Netflix and YouTube, i think i can change the output of VLC.

If i use Firefox i might be able to find an add-on that would allow me to change the audio out. which might eliminate most of my problems. I'm going to look for that now.

No such luck on a Firefox add-on
