US $ I am asking for hard drive they will be cheaper my brother says

That being the case then, I recommend Western Digital drives, mostly a blue. If you can get a Black around about the same price though, then do so. Don't get a WD Red drive though as they're not meant for home use. You should be able to get a 1TB model round about $50, and I think on Amazon they have a WD 2TB Green for $80.

To help, I think there's a video explaining each colour's purpose. If you want me to find it I can!

How do Reavers clean their spears?

|Specs in profile|

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

Although they are indeed optimized for NAS use, there's nothing wrong with them for desktop use at all. In fact many people use them like that, especially in combination with SSDs. Sure, other HDD lines have a somewhat higher performance, but WD Reds are among the most quiet HDDs you can find - and they're usually (much) cheaper then blacks (at least around here). So it's always a question of one's priorities.  :)

Didn't really know they're practical in home use :o To be honest I'm just young builder who's only built a single PC so I haven't the best knowledge indepth ;;^^
